As you can from the list see below, there are lots of delicious recipes and smoothie blends that you can enjoy your Energrēns tea with, so let’s get started.

We recommend pouring about 10 ounces of your preferred liquid into a Mason jar or shaker cup (with a tight fitting lid), adding your Energrēns, and then placing the lid on the container and shaking the contents vigorously e well - and presto, your Energrēns is ready to drink.

Hint #1: Energrēns can be mixed with a variety of liquids. Some people simply choose water, while others use their favorite juice.

Hint # 2: Don’t stir your Energrēns into the liquid since it will get little lumpy and not mix very well. Shaking or blending Energrēns will achieve better mix and a smoother drink.

Hint #3: You can freeze the nut or coconut milk in ice cube trays the night before, for a thicker, colder beverage.

Hint #4: The healthy essential fats in the raw nuts included in many of these recipes help slow down the absorption of natural sugars present in fruit and fruit juices.

Hint#5: If you soak your raw nuts over night they mix to a creamier consistency.

Recipes:

Apprentice’s Blend
Using a Mason jar or glass with a tight-fitting lid, vigorously shake:

  • 1 tablespoon Energrēns
  • ½ cup Apple juice

BanApple Express
Mix in blender at high speed:

  • 1 tablespoon Energrēns
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup Apple juice
  • ½ frozen or fresh Banana

Berry Smoothie
Mix in blender at high speed:

  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • ½ cup frozen berries
  • ½ frozen Banana
  • 1 teaspoon Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Energrēns

Cacao Pow Smoothie
Mix in a blender at high speed in the following order:

  • 1/2 Quart Coconut milk
  • 1 Tablespoon Energrēns
  • 1 Tablespoon Cacao powder
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 fresh or frozen Banana
  • Sweeten to taste with organic coconut palm sugar

Creamy Berry Smoothie
Mix in blender at high speed:

  • ¼ cup raw Almonds*
  • 1 cup water
When mixture is smooth, add the following ingredients and continue blending at high speed:
  • 1 cup frozen berries (we prefer Raspberries, or Blackberries)
  • ½ frozen Banana
  • 1 tablespoon Energrēns
  • Vanilla to taste

Fiber Rich Smoothie
Mix in blender at high speed:

  • ¼ cup raw Almonds*
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
When mixture is smooth, add the remaining ingredients and continue blending at high speed:
  • 5 pre-soaked and pitted prunes
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 tablespoon Molasses
  • 1 tablespoon Energrēns
  • A pinch of Nutmeg

Juiced-up Green Drink
In a juicer, add the following ingredients:

  • 2 Apples
  • 2 stalks of Celery
  • 2 handfuls Spinach
  • 2 handfuls, Kale
  • 1 cucumber (peeled if not organic or grown in your own garden)
  • 1 piece of peeled fresh Ginger
  • ½ cup of Cilantro
  • 1-3 Carrots
  • 1 Beet including the greens
  • 1 red Bell pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon of Energrēns
Into your glass add:
  • fresh Lemon or Lime juice to taste

LycoGreens
Mix in blender at high speed:

  • 1½ cups Tomato or mixed vegetable juice
  • ½ cup diced red Bell pepper
  • ½ cup diced Celery
  • 1 tablespoon Energrēns
  • ½ Lime juiced
  • 2-4 dashes of your favorite hot pepper sauce
  • Worcestershire sauce to taste

Melon Julep Smoothie
Mix in blender at high speed:

  • 1 cup cut-up cantaloupe
  • 1 cup cut-up honeydew melon
  • 1 cup cut-up watermelon
  • ½ cup Coconut milk
  • 10 mint leaves
  • 3 ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon Energrēns

Peaches-n-Cream Smoothie
Mix in blender at high speed:

  • ¼ cup raw Cashews*
  • 1 cup water
When mixture is smooth, add the remaining ingredients and continue blending at high speed:
  • ½ cup Apple juice
  • ½ cup Almond milk
  • ½ frozen Banana
  • ½ cup frozen Peaches
  • 1 tablespoon Energrēns
  • Vanilla to taste

Tropical Dream Smoothie
Mix in blender at high speed:

  • ⅛ cup raw Cashews*
  • 1 cup Pineapple, Papaya, or Passion Fruit juice
When mixture is smooth, add:
  • ½ frozen Banana
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon Energrēns
Continue to blend at high speed until smooth.

Kid Pleasers

Put these smoothies in a Sippy or colored cup with a straw (crazy straws work really well) with a lid, and your kids won’t notice the green color.

Green Monster Shake
Mix in blender at high speed:

  • ¼ cup raw Cashews*
  • ½ cup Coconut milk
  • ½ cup Apple juice
When mixture is smooth, add the remaining ingredients and continue blending at high speed:
  • ½ frozen Banana
  • Energrēns (serving size adjusted for child’s body weight)
  • Vanilla to taste

Summer Bliss
Mix in blender at high speed:

  • ¼ cup raw Almonds*
  • ½ cup Orange juice
  • ½ cup Pineapple juice
When mixture is smooth, add the remaining ingredients and continue blending at high speed:
  • ½ frozen Banana
  • Energrēns (serving size adjusted for child’s body weight)
  • Vanilla and nutmeg to taste

*NOTE: If you, your family, or friends are allergic to nuts, you can substitute soy, rice or oat milk for the nuts.
